To Jim and the people of Oak Grove Landmark Missionary Baptist Church,

Do you really have so little faith in the gospel that you need to compare the monetary savings you receive at Wal-Mart with the salvation we receive through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross?

Is it so important for you to have a catchy marquee that you trivialize the gospel of Jesus Christ?

I was just wondering.

Sarcasm aside, I really don't understand what is going through the minds of the people who put these stupid little sayings on their signs.

A couple of weeks ago I saw one in Mount Vernon that read, "Last Events Before Jesus Comes, Free Lunch this Sunday". Well at least I get a free lunch.
