The busyness of December is beginning to fade away and I am left to reflect on one of the most event filled times of my family’s life. We attended five work related Christmas dinners and four Christmas programs for our children and for work. Not to mention time with family and hours on the road. I am grateful for time with family and friends. Jenn and I were privileged to lead her family in a Christmas Eve service at their home in Mt. Vernon. It was refreshing to hear scripture and receive the elements with family in an intimate setting. After opening presents on Christmas morning we went to our Sunday morning worship service. I felt like I was given the opportunity to worship corporately for the first time in months because the gathered community of faith was asked participate rather than observe worship. It has been a hectic yet extremely encouraging month for me. Jenn and I are starting to see some positive responses to the kingdom announcement we are compelled to announce.
