Last week was our family vacation and we were able to spend the majority of it with family and friends, much better than a expensive trip to Disney World. Jenn's vacation officially ended on Sunday, which was Father's Day. What a great day. Jenn's parents and brother came down for a cookout and we spent the day getting some things done around the house and relaxing. We hit some golf balls around in the back yard, played croquet, moved two couches and two refrigerators, ate some hamburgers and brats and ended the day on the back deck looking at the moon and stars through Andrew's telescope and roasting marshmallows over the chiminea. It just felt like the right rhythm of life, not hurried but productive and experienced in community.
